Work with Us

Kate's professional background in student affairs and academic degrees in health education make her a dynamic presenter + community builder.

Need someone to teach modern homesteading workshops like fermentation, how to make elderberry syrup, or chickens 101? Let's work together in a fun + dynamic way to engage your audience (and she can do this with kiddos to seniors!).

Want to create engaging community-building opportunities for your organization? She can help with that too! Kate uses her PhD in community health education to offer unique perspectives and insights into next steps and programming ideas.

Need a retreat-like experience for your workplace? Kate can hold a sound bath and offer botanical make + take experiences for your team to feel soothed and cared for after a few hours.

Vision

I'm in my element helping you make your life shine a little brighter.

Heartland Homestead is the community we have dreamed up so we are all connecting deeply with nature and each other.

Sound Bath + Retreat Experiences

Ranging from group sound baths at the farm or your location to mini-retreats, Kate is skilled at gathering groups of people and nurturing them in a big way through sound baths, hands-on creative activities, + more.

Homestead Workshops

Kate leads 95% of our homestead workshops and is a "jill of all trades." Armed with enough knowledge to be dangerous and enough research to be knowledgeable, she leads homestead workshops in ways that meet people where they are and feel inclusive to people from all backgrounds.

A brief list of topics she presents on are elderberry syrup, fire cider, fermentation, canning, jam making, chicken keeping 101, + more.
